On the upside, this should be super easy for Obama to beat!
Although it’s interesting, Mitt -did- do that state healthcare in mass. before, and he’s totally turning back on that to get support for the republicans, it makes it hard to tell how republican he ACTUALLY is. He could be socially very conservative but economically more socialist than the other candidates, and I’d be honestly more okay with him as a candidate than someone like Rick Santorum who is terrible in -every- way.
I mean, I’d still really really prefer Santorum to be the CANDIDATE because there’s pretty much no way he could ever beat Obama, and keeping Obama in is ideal.
Well that’s always such a tricky game y/n? What if Obama does something unthinkably idiotic and sabotages his own chances? Do you really want to be left with Santorum? But OTOH how likely is that to happen?
But do you really want to underestimate the Dems’ chances to shoot themselves in the foot? Because they’re good at that.
